I just purchased a Queen City # 83A folder. It is very large, at
5 3/8" closed. It is in mint condition with "orange" colored composite scales.

Can anyone give me an idea when these were made, since I have can find no information on this style? Thanks.
 
I do not remember exactly how old, but it is relativly recent. (Within 5 or 6 years if I am not mistaken.)

It is a large coke bottle folding hunter. I would love to see them make these in D2 some day.

Bastid: Thanks for the info. Pretty cool big folder in a good old traditional format. You are right: D2 would be great.
