I want to thank Mr. Ryan Daniels, Vice President Sales, Queen cutlery for his personal attention and the excellent customer service provided by them.
Awhile ago I had whined about my displeasure about three Queen folders that I had purchased in the last 3 months.
A Amber Honey #40 Gunstock and a #31 Cattle King (large stockman) and a Schatt & Morgan #3L F&W Mountain Man LB. All blades on the three knives wouldn't cut a piece of copy paper w/o using a sawing motion which left a ragged cut. All had D2 blades.
Mr. Daniels took the time to respond to my email and stepped up to the plate and told me to send them in to give them an opportunity to make them right.
Queen received my knives on 9/20/13 and I got them back today, 9/25/13. The edges on them are simply a delight to use. All 6 blades (total), will make a sweet clean slice through a sheet of copy paper. I have sent Mr. Daniels a thank you email.
Customer service just doesn't get any better than this.
While I can't be sure, I believe that the stock that I bought may have been in the Dealers inventory prior to the the Daniels purchasing Queen and thus suffered from the same complaints about the edges that so many others here have mentioned from the old owners.
Queen sure has taken care of any concerns that I may have had about purchasing another knife from them. I'm old school and appreciate good customer service.
If the new edges on these folders are any indication of how the new Queens will be under the Daniels new ownership of Queen, we can expect to
see an excellent blade coming from Queen Cutlery in the future.
Again, thank you for the excellent customer service Mr. Daniels .
My regards, Tom
