Well I received the Queen D2 carved stag bone gunstocks the other day and I have to say that the "fit and finish" although not perfect, is much better than anything Ive seen from Case in years!!! These D2 queen knives are R-E-A-L workers!!!! I have to say I am very satisfied with them!!!! :D

Knives that only look pretty, but you can really use them!!!!!

I recently purchase a Queen Stag Hawbaker. I got a really bad ding in the wharny blade when I closed it - from thwaking the clip blade. It was graciously replaced by the dealer but the replacement had a similar problem. The replacement got a very nasty 90 deg. edge roll on the tip. These blades snap closed very hard let me tell you! I was able to sharpen the ding out to my satisfaction but now I don't have that crisp, pointy sharp tip on the wharny blade any more :grumpy:.

Having said that I must say that this knife is a true pleasure. Blades are thin stock which makes it one hellava slicer - not a heavy duty knife by any means but it covers most of my EDC needs in true style. One does not want to absent mindedly close the alligator jaw blades though - liable to cut down to the bone for sure .

Glad to here you are happy with your gunstock.

wow, sorry to hear that! You might want to contact queen about that problem and see what they'll do about it. Sounds like a manufacturing defect.
