Over the last month I bought several of them. For the most part quality is very good but there is the occasonal weak spring.
My favorite is the cocobolo. It's a bit lighter in weight, feels warmer and looks great. It's a perfect handle material for these knives!
The jigged black cherry is really Delrin and it looks like it but for $30 it's the perfect user.
The carved stag bone not my favorite but that's based only on personal taste.
I've used my black cherry delrin the most and come to the conclusion that thsis pattern is teh perfect EDC. Sure it's not a one hand opening knife but you get used to it and quickly realize the one hand is not all that neccessary. The traditional style also makes it very non-threatening.
Size & weight are perfect in my opinion.
The D2 blades come sharp but need a touch-up to make them razor sharp and they really do hold a edge for a long time. It's hard to compare but probalby more than any other blade I've ever used.
I really like them!
I'd recommend starting with the Jigged black cherry (Delrin) because it's the cheapest price but the quality is the same. And If you like it get the other two.
I ordered mine from Cumberland Knife Works. I heard good things about them so I gave them a try and they've worked out very well.
Check out the manufacturer's section at the "other forum" and you'll get more info on these knives.
Good luck,
