A few years back I bought this from a dealer as a "frame only" , and could dress it up with any handle material we choose.
It's been dressed in Bocote wood, stainless liners, bolster, and pins. The stainless shield is pinned.
The fit and finish is absolutely flawless.
Never been sharpened or carried...it's been put away with the rest of the herd, but it does have a couple rust spots on the blade(see picture) that I'm sure can be cleaned up...I didn't want to buff on it myself for fear I might take off some of the etching on the blade.
