Not really a review I really like this new Queen amber carved stag bone and just wanted to share it.
I previously owned 2 Queen knives. The first was a Mountain Man in stag bone. It has the dubious distinction of having the worst blade play of any folder I have ever owned. The pretend stag didnt really work for me. I still own it but it rarely gets out of storage.
The second was a Serpentine jack in black cherry. Nice knife but someone forgot to sharpen it before they put it in the box. Once I put a decent edge on it, the D2 proved its worth and I carry it regularly.
The amber stag bone swing guard arrived a couple of days ago. I am pleased to say that workmanship is excellent and the knife arrived with a sharp edge on the D2 blade.
The amber bone is beautiful the pics just dont do it justice. The blade swings out smoothly and locks like a knife should. Closing is the same.
What will I do with a swing guard? I have no idea. Its not the most practical design in this age of so called tactical folders. I may not use it at all just own it and admire it.
