Questiion about ram horn.

Looking at David's you can see the rich darkness of the horn. My understanding is that it is fired lightly with a torch to get the color.
Anyone know for sure?

Well….I found out for sure that it is NOT fired!
I ordered a pair of ram's horn scales last week and this is how it turned out;

I liked it enough that I ordered another pair. :)

Gedlick's 192 and Bear Claw's 110 are extra, extra nice. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Bear Claw, love how deep the Rams horn is on yours, Stumps, you are really doing great work, a real beauty. Here's a pic of mine I received from The Custom Shop a couple months ago.

Red,

You are a registered user PhotoBucket should work. You may be a genius tech person but lets go basic. You post your photo on Photobucket. You go to your photo library and there is your photo. Don't click on it....leave it small. Over on the right side are three boxes of codes. One of them starts with some brackets and the letter IMG. Click on that an save it to memory. THEN click the minimize button on the very top of the page. Don't close the site. Then you have to open BladeForums and come here where all you have to do is put your cursor in the box, type what you want to say and right click and hit Paste. And the line of code will appear. When you save the 'Post Quck Reply' box your photo will appear under your text. After all that you can learn to post multiples and do other stuff.

I usually have the BladeForums open first and minimize that first, then open PhotoBucket and do the clicking and saving then come back to BF, click it open to big screen, go to the spot I want and paste the photo in. As mentioned it is easy if you get the hang of it. Just don't close anything when open just minimize. Your post looks ok, you just didn't get the IMG line of code here. We are all pulling for you. 300Bucks

Red,

Quantity of light and a good camera are the two keys to great photography but working with photos on a computer is all about MEMORY.

I ran out of memory on my two TB desktop a while ago to my complete surprise! This prevented me from working with any large files, photos in particular. My virus software, Russian, had been saving all sorts of stuff like a speed of light hoarder! I erased this store of claptrap and reset the virus software to not save everything (I do not know how it became set incorrectly in the first place). My memory was vastly opened and I could work with photos again. Unfortunately, by then I had erased a host of videos, for SPS, and most of my image files, Steve crying to himself here. You might consider examining your memory capacity and see how close you are to being full. If close then take steps. Just a thought. Stay warm in your Northern paradise.

I usally working off my smart phone. My wife usually carries the laptop back and forth. So working from my phone is probably my problem. I just posted a picture of my ram horn and buffalo horn knives on the official buck page on Facebook
