^^ true! however i noticed when reassembling my tiger that the back screw in the middle would spin when tightening the liner side. Easy fix only took screw drivers, one to hold the screw and one to tighten.

I fully 100% disassemble every part of my Emersons for cleaning and I've only had a "spinning screw" issue on a standoff model once or twice. I usually wrap the standoff in a cloth and hold it with pliers. Then I'll tighten it down on one side, then full reassembly.
I've never seen a model with 6 standoffs, the most I've seen is 4.
With standoffs you only need to disassemble the pivot side. Before with the backspacer you had to unscrew both sides because the body screws went through the backspacer and into to the opposite liner.
Forgive me, but what is "frog lube"?Interesting method. I've only had it happen once so far on my tiger, I finally broke it down, cleaned, and frog lubed it. Now it flies out with my monster disk.
Frog Lube is a gun lubricant.
But it works great on knives, and other applications.
Yup, the key to froglube is heat. Works great.
