Question about 119 rosewood versus cherrywood?

Hi, I have a question for anyone who might know. I saw the bass pro cherrywood 119 and I could tell that it was laminated wood (because of the defined layers). The rosewood version on the other hand looked like it was a solid piece of wood. I looked online and a few sites say that the rosewood is also laminated but it for some reason does not look like it is.

Does anyone have an answer on this? Also, is cocobola the same as rosewood as far as the 119 is concerned?

Thanks so much :)

Asa, Cocobola is very different than rose wood. Both in color and make for its one piece of wood and tan to gold in color. The laminated woods are very good as well, strong and striking.I like the red woods w/ brass guards and the laminates save material. DM

Unless the knife came out of the original Custom Shop. I would assume the handle is laminated in spite of its appearance.
