The ending of Sea Hunt when I was just 8 years old was a rude awakening for me as I realized there were forces in the world that didn't care how much I was glued to the TV set for each episode, their priorities totally gave no weight to mine. I couldn't believe that a show that good was cancelled after only three seasons.

Learned that commercials and sponsorship were primary. Now will Buck ship some 124's to my dealer so I can get my mitts on one.
