Thanks for the ribbon replies, sorry to hijack the thread.
And yes, I am already intimately familiar with an atmospheric forge. So much sk I think I have reached the max potential of that system... Hence why my latest forge project is gonna be blown.
I was going to give the forge internals a vaulted ceiling type deal. One side of the vaulted ceiling would be the ribbon burner firing down at an angle to the work piece. I am making it large enough that I can slide a couple of bricks in to reduce the volume of the forge if I need to.
And the ribbon burner is going to be my ultimate decision I think. It seems to be the best fit for what I am wanting. Thanks again...
