Question About Allen Elishewitz Folder

I've been reading earlier threads about production knives versus custom knives and I have a couple of questions about Allen Elishewitz.

I know he is a custom knife maker and does design work for various companies. I am a fan of his work and would like to own one of his knives someday.

The knife I’ve pictured below, is it a custom work of his or a production knife with his brand (like the CRK Sebenza) ? I guess I’m confused a bit, if this is a production folder , is it a quality piece?

I ‘d really appreciate any help, I’m getting into uncharted territory…. for me anyway…

I believe that's a handmade piece from his early Omega series.

Thanks for the quick reply....

It's a very nice looking knife from the picture , but I don't know anything about his early work. I did a quick search on the web ans it looks as though his logo is different now.

I could be wrong, but it's got allen's and Bob Terzuola's mark on it. I know that they collaborated on a few items.

I've read that Allen Elishewitz is going to start making mid-tech knives in near future. It may be something really interesting.

Thanks for all the information and pics...

Does anyone know any more about the one I pictured?

It's for sale and I might buy it.

Allen Elishewitz is a great guy and I thank him.....

Here' s the answer I got from him, in a little over an hour of sending my message to him.

Dear Joe:
Thank you for your interest in my work and your kind words. This knife is an Omega M6 model. It is an early knife made around 92-93 with my old logo on it.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Allen Elishewitz

I have quite a few of Allen's fine knives. Some of the earlier ones had inconsistent lockup on the liner locks. I sent him one back to be fixed and he returned it in perfect condition-no charge!

He is a great guy and a fine craftsman.

Allen does fantastic work. I would sell all my productions knives for one of his customs.....which is what I did.
