Looks like it's a Falcon not an Eagle, how long is the blade? Don't know about the stamp.
can you tell me what the stamp on the other side of the blade say's?

It would appear that somewhere around the time Al Mar went from nail nicks to thumstuds they also went from stamped to etched trademarks. here is a quicksilver with the old mark and thumbstud. http://twitpic.com/dy4f4x
Without a blade length it is tough to tell if this is an Eagle or Falcon. My guess is 3" blade, so model #1003 TAL Falcon Talon.

Where are you guys getting this misinformation about the chop and selling seconds?
We did, in fact, sell very small numbers of specially marked seconds.
We also had knives with painted logos, unpainted logos, stamped tangs, tangs with just "A.M.K.", etc.
