Question about Buck 111 classic

What's truly sad is seeing a nice Buck on Ebay and the description says Dads, Grandfather Uncle ect.being sold for a little bit of cash..I treasure family items passed down. I was just talking to David about 110's and 112's if one of us passed on and I told him I would want the one he used the most to remember him by..

Hard to tell but it looks like it might be a 3 dot. One of the early one's with a 440C blade. DM
Sorry that I didn't reply! Forgot my password for a bit... But the engraving is my great grandfather's name, and the dots are 2 on both sides of 111.

I'd never think of selling this. I'm so protective of it, that I'm hesitant to even send it in! If it got lost in transit, I'd be so devastated that the post office would have to call the police.

Thanks. That means it has a blade of 425M steel. Still, a upgrade steel from 420. Did you find the sheath? DM

Wrap the knife in Saran Wrap before storing it in the sheath. This will prevent corrosion around the edges.
