question about CRK Flourinated grease purchased off ebay

kidcongo once suggested using one of those tiny artists paintbrushes to "paint" the grease on the tang of the blade. I tried it and must say, it works very well and that is how I do it now. I won't be using any other method for the foreseeable future. It also really saves on any wasted grease.

One suggestion is to get "Finish Line Extreme Flouro' Teflon grease.. it is the same as the CRK grease.. and it comes in a syringe which is way easier to apply.. A lot of members here use the same thing...

Thanks for the suggestion. I will get the Finish Line Extreme Flouro grease.

another good suggestion. Yeah, when applying grease it kinda gets all over so the paintbrush sounds like a great solution to keep things neat and the right amount used

Take this with a grain of salt as all the CRKs I've had have been purchased second hand.

What I've noticed with the grease is that it's kind of like ketchup. When you first start to squeeze it, out comes a little bit of thin liquid. Squeeze some more and then you get to the actual white grease.

This is also my experience. I squeeze the tube a bit first with the lid on to mix it up.
