Question about discontinued model

Hi everyone, I know I made a topic not long ago but I also have something I'm wondering about I hope you guys can help me understand.

You see, there is a folding knife from CRKT which I really Like called Carajas and it looks gorgeous imo but the knife is discontinued and is no longer sold, does anyone in here know why stuff like this happens? I just can't understand it, the folder looks like a really good quality knife with awesome design.

Typically its because, and dont take this personally, the vast majority of people think its ugly and/or stupid and/or junk and, hence, don't buy it.
