I have been trying to trade a few things, and it would seem things move pretty fast around here. My question is it ok to work with several people on the same trade, item until you finally get an offer and accept it. Then letting the others know it was traded or do you just communicate with one person at a time. It seems like I get a bunch of emails back and forth but it might take all day to finally agree on a trade during which time others have requested info as well.

You create the problem of possibly making an offer that's accepted as made, only to have to renig. I've had it done to me, and decline to deal with that person after that. Unless you really need the money, in which case you post it for sale, I think you should deal with one at a time.

I've dealt with multiple people at one time before. Just tell both of the parties that you're considering other offers and you'll let them know. As long as you're honest. That's the hallmark of all interactions here. Honesty and good communication.

If you want to go that route, use ebay and slap a "Or Best Offer" on it. Te best thing to do is to do the first come, first serve. Remember the rules as well, while they are not listed under the trading section explicitly.... there is no testing the water to gauge interest. You either make the deal you are offered or you don't. Leaving people hanging is a sure way to destroy your credibility and reputation.

One at a time on trade. Having your all wants listed in the thread is a better start, and being knowledgeable about the street prices, helps make trades very easy -- the more homework you do, the better chances of getting it. If you are not sure about what you want (open to any folders), pick up the first one that you like and be done. As Rev said, no testing waters for interest.
