Can the flipper delete iMamba be slow rolled or is it a 2 hand opener? I previously owned a flipper model but I was unable to consistently slow roll it open, which was one of the reasons I ended up parting with it. Unfortunately I don’t have the dexterity to reverse flick, thumb flick ect. ect., arthritis and stubby fingers, so a slow roll option is necessary. I currently have an Orca, and am itching to add a flipper delete iMamba to the stable.

Slow roll is absolutely doable. I have an iMamba delete and slow roll it all the time. I also have the Orca and believe they are exactly the same on a slow roll.

I slow roll my flipper model all the time. I have two of them, and I put one on washers. The washers slow the action down, but make it very easy to slow roll, similar action to a Chris Reeve.

Don't they adjust the detent on the no flipper versions? I thought I read that somewhere.

I find the thumb nick too far down the blade. I can do it, but then I have to reposition my grip, so it's a bit awkward to me.

The only way I can consistently get it to work is with a reverse flick. I can - mostly - get it to slow roll with my thumb if I reposition my grip and get my thumb down on the blade opening towards the middle or closer to the tip. It’s awkward and not fun. I just stick to the flipper.

That was my experience with the flipper version, so I’m leary about getting another flipper. I am hoping the non flipper version is not as awkward and inconsistent. Unfortunately the vendor does not have a Pj stonewashed flipper delete in stock, so it looks like I’ll have to wait a bit.
