question about knife quality

I like the pics and prices, but have not handled any Wright knives of Sheffield.

I ordered one of these:

except with wood scales. It has a thick carbon steel blade and F&F is barely OK. I haven't really used it so I can't comment on the edge holding. I guess for ~~$25 shipped from england I can't really expect too much...

Bought a stag handled Wright pocket knife about 18 mths ago. Stag is a bit mismatched, one side having a burnt finish. Nicely fileworked bak spacer and the carbon steel blade takes a good edge. Cost 18 pounds sterling and is reasonably well finished outside if not inside.
Shame Sheffield cannot get its act together, precious little manufacturing left in the UK
