Question about Matriarch

It'd be cool to have a grey Matriarch, that's for sure! Mike, does it have the reinforced "fence" around the clip indent to prevent rotation during carry? My (first) pink Delica which I've carried a bit has suffered a little damage to the FRN from rotation.

Actually, I think I DID carry my Sifu into the Statehouse once! But it was before this past summer. No way would I take anything more than a Delica or Native in there now, and even then, I'd CALL FIRST. Never know how anal they'll get on short notice...

On a much better note, I'm going to the Spyderco MBC Levels 1 and 2 tomorrow at Grove City Karate! My first formal defensive knife course. Two days of tactical knifiness! And two nights off work! Yeeaaaa!

The grey Matriarch does not have the reinforcing, but the black one does. This isn't a problem with a neck sheath, as I've done thousands of deploying blade draws with the grey Matriarch. You'll have fun and learn a lot from the MBC class at GCK. Mike Janich is a great instructor and can keep you rolling on the floor with his story telling. Hope to get over there if they host future MBC classes.

I just wrapped up MBC levels 1 and 2 an hour or so ago. Not too much pain today! The swelling from yesterday was taken care of last night. A great class!

They're hoping to have Janich back sometime in August or September for levels 3 and 4.
