Question about my new Silent Soldier Flipper

Hi All
I just joined the forum. Over the last year, I've really gotten into knives - I've gone from one EDC - a Benchamde mini grip - to several and just recently took the plunge and got Silent Soldier Flipper G10 based on reviews and YT videos.
My question is this - is there a break in period? It doesn't seem to deploy as easily and smoothly as the reviews and videos say it should - it's nothing totally disagreeable but it does require a light flick of the wrist and a authoritative depression of flipper

Yes. I should become smoother with time but if it doesn't then send it in.

Maybe try loosening the pivot screw a bit.

My silent soldier flipper took a little getting use too. You have to push the trigger in like a button you can feel the tension building then it will flip. DONT push down on the flipper from the top. Push in from the side.
