Question about O-1

I just got done making my first fully completed knife out of O-1. I'm very pleased with it it holds a good edge and is easy to shapen. I put a satin finish on it to aid in corrosion resistance but I'm thinking on down the line I may want to put a finish on it. I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried cold blue ing O-1 and how it turned out or if there is any acid type metal color solution. Thanks

bluing will only effect the surface and will quickly show scratches
