question about paintball

I just want to mention one thing. Make sure you know the rules where you play.

The last time I played paintball was at a field not to much after I had surgery on my back. I was able to get around but not duck down quickly. I figured if nothing else it would be fun and I wasn't expecting to win, just to have a good time. I got shot fairly early on, so I walked to the side with my gun over my head to let everyone know I had been hit and leave the field. As I was walking down the side towards the exit, some douche jumped up and pelted me a good ten times with paintballs. As I could not run, I made a note of who he was and waited for the game to end.

I won't say what happened next but he and I were both banned from coming back.
 
What is "Bonus Balling"?

Is that when you shoot someone after they have ben hit and are out of the game?

The worse paintball hit I ever suffered was off the field from a friend. Accidental discharge on the sidelines from about a foot away. The ball blew a hole in my shirt and left a handsome bruise. I made a mental note to never shoot real firearms with that person. :D
