Question about Peter la

Peter,Forgot to say,I did say some things I do regret and I recognize that. And your friends were good to me last night.Leatherbird. :)

Oh I in no way meant this to be a stab at Peter. I am also glad he is here. Before he joined the site I just sat back and only read. I have only been a member a little while longer than him but he has blown me away with # of posts. I saw how much he was learning and the friendships he was creating through posting questions and comments and thought to myself, I need to step up and interact also. Not only here but in life in general. I'm thankful that he joined for more reasons than benifiting my knowledge about knives. I'm thankful for all of you here on this site and would in no way intentionaly try to insult anyone. I meant this thread to be fun for him, not fun at his expense.

My interacting skills are growing, please bear with me. :)

Thanks everyone for the kind words. They are appreciated. :)

To be honest, I really don't care about surpassing anyone, I am here to learn, make some new friends, and obviously, get more infi! :D

Peter;

you're correct,,thats what it is all about bro

:D

I am all for Peter getting involved... while I am more than twice his age I can still remember how exciting it was to get into something as 'cool' as knives.

Peter's ability to get into the best knives available at his age should speak more to his credit than anything else. At 15 I was still buying the cheapest POS I could get my hands on...

I got into knives as a way of creating a bridge of communication between myself and my father after my parents got divorced... and now that he and I are more friends than anything else, he and I still talk about the latest knives we buy.

The Internet is a fantastic place to aquire knowledge... I for one don't mind helping another brother out from time to time.

Aw c'mon man. He ain't hurting nobody. :D Peter has asked questions I would have been embarassed to ask, so I have learned from his excitement.

The kid is actually growing on me. He seems like a trustworthy and honest person.

Sight unseen, I would probably trust him more to watch my house for me than some of the characters I know.

Matteo Escobar, yesterday was different than your usual run of the mill 24 hours. I would say (I don't want to count) that more than half related to what happened in London. I am sure (again, I don't want to count) that you posted more than usual yesterday and on 9/11.

leatherbird, they really are a great bunch of people! :)

Mtnclimber69, Thank you for those words. They are appreciated. :)

Thanks GALAXYTECH :) , I am good at two of the three. The getting more infi is the difficult part! :D

Silas, I took no offense, I do post quite a bit, don't I. :D

Give me a break, I have been supervising kids all day at a nature camp. I'm tired. I did mean you and edited to reflect my stupid mistake. :D

Sorry, I am currently distracted by the very annoying Canadian Customs officials that are probably playing with my SFNO as we speak. I expected it here today and I get home to a mail box void of a delivery notice. I know they need to take precautions but please, it's a knife, a small one at that. Aw well, it better be here later this week.

Yes, Peter sure has brought out a lot of information through his questions.

I know it has really helped the other "new kids" who may have chosen not to ask questions.

Mainly me.

I have come to learn that just about everyone on this site is nice and very helpful.

I had quite an experience over at the Lightfighter web site. Man, those guys can be BRUTAL. They'll even drag your mother into it. I don't understand it.

Silas,

Do you realize how much you increased Peter's post count with just this thread? ;) :D You and I will never catch him! :D

The folks that frequent the BF Busse forum are nearly always understanding and civil, even if things get a little heated. Just don't believe anything they say if they offer to borrow or hold your INFI! ;) :D Stick around; there is a lot of good info here!

Gene

To be honest, I feel small next to Peter La with my amount of posts and registry date, but hey, I never write anything unless I have to :D
