Question about "Piston Lock"

I'm new to folding knifes, I started collecting this year in May and I have a couple of Liner locks and Tri-ad locks but I have never held a folder with a Piston Lock. Are Piston Locks good? Are they strong?

Not as strong as the triad but stronger than most liner locks😂
