Question about private messages

I understand that with the gold level membership you get 40 or 50 private messages. My question is for what time period? Is it 40 a month? 40 forever?

Total. You can't have more then 40 sent / received in your inbox at any one time.

40 at a time. You can download your messages to your computer if you want to save a copy and delete them from your Bladeforum message boxes to make room for more any time.
