Question about Sebenza blade grind

Totally sharpened.look at the tip edge.far too forward on a wicked edge most likely the returned to store.

TNK sells them with silver hardware and maybe others also. You probably just have to order them that way. Blue is standard.

The very first pic makes it fairly obvious to me. There is noticeably less distance between the edge apex and the start of the primary grind at the heel than there is midway up.

I should have quoted this in the above post.

a little odd that the op isn't involved in this topic... I am still not convinced that it isn't the factory edge

A little thread necromancy here, but all that is - the plunge radius wasn't cleared. You can see how there is some cutting edge beard down there into the radius of the plunge grind. This is what causes the recurve, and yes it does happen at the factory sometimes. The small 21 blade is a good bit smaller and probably more difficult to grind than the large, so it happens. I've got one like that, too, and it's nothing that a 1x30 sander (or a trip to CRK) won't solve. No dealer is going to sell you a customer sharpened and returned blade, because they're not going to accept it as a return. CRK is high quality, but that doesn't mean perfect. They had to re-heat-treat a lock bar for me because the dang thing had to be pried open with a whole hand. But it was fine after they did.

Here are some images of mine. First, the before shot with recurve:

Next, the after shot, no more recurve post contact with my 1x30 belt sander. I pushed it forward just enough to get rid of the recurve, but not far enough to move past the thumb stud. Also, you can see I made sure to leave the spot of the blade that contacts the stop pin in tact, so that the blade closes properly:

Last, as a bonus, that couple millimeters I knocked off left me with a small, useable finger choil:
