Question about selling Buck Knives

Hi all, I just signed up for the forum and I have a question about the best place to sell Buck Knives. I see there is a way to do that here, and I also see quite a few posted on ebay. I have quite a few custom knives for sale - one of a kind prototypes made for me by Wilde Bill Cody. Mostly with exotic wood handles (moradillo, canarywood, curly maple, and lots more), but quite a few different styles of folders and fixed blades. Any tips on how to get the most exposure for these? Thanks for any and all feedback.

if you buy a gold membership you can sell all the knives you want and not have to pay a percentage fee like on ebay. a membership is good for a year and is only $25. if you will have to pay ebay more than that after selling your knives, selling them here will be your best bet.

...but that assumes you can get the same selling price in both places. Here on bladeforums you have an asking price that you can lower over time until someone bites. Ebay has the auction format or buy-it-now. Also, Bladeforums is a close community of discriminating buyers, who expect to be well treated and will hold a seller accountable for it.
Bladeforums Gold membership has other benefits, of course, such as supporting the community and ability to do searches and post photos.
I recommend you become a gold member, sell most of your good knives on Bladeforums at fair prices, and sell the rest on Ebay.

Thanks for the info - I'm a bit at a loss as to how to even set a price for some of these - they are prototypes and I know some of the custom knives can really range in price quite a bit. I guess the only way is to try and research what some have sold for on other sites might be a good starting point. Thanks for the tip on changing the price here too if no one is interested in the price you list.
