Hi,

I ordered a knife from Peter Jensen, and he told me that he had shipped the knife on Jan 7. He also mentioned that the delivery would take about 7-10 days.

It's been moe than 3 weeks since then, and I still haven't gotten my knife yet. Is it normal for an EMS courrier to run this late ?

The thing that really worries me is that I haven't heard from him for 9 days, and in the last email, he told me that he was going to "chase it up and get back to you". That's 9 days ago.

I thought the strike was only in Melbourne or something, not the whole continent? I'm not sure though.

I had 2 knives shipped to me on the 15th of January from Australia.. from 2 completely different parts. One of them arrived on the 22nd and the other one has not arrived yet. Both were sent the same method. I am in Canada however so customs may be more of an issue here. But I've never had anything from Oz take more than 3 weeks..

I've bought, sold and traded with Oupa aka Dirk several times, and shipping times were very fast. I don't think anything much longer than a week. I don't remember how he shipped, but I used USPS. Everything went very smoothly.

This is weird.

Finally after waiting for more than a week, Peter emailed me that he was going to reship the knife tomorrow. He didn't even tell me what had happened that caused him to re-send the knife.

Is it a common business practice ?
