Question about Strider/Triple Aught TKA

I saw this knife a couple weeks ago, and really like the design. I prefer the cord wrap version but once I got to looking more closely I noticed that it is ATS-34 while the G-10 handled version is BG-42. My question is....will there be a cord wrap offered in BG-42?

I really can't answer your question about what they will offer, but I can tell you that I have one of the G-10 versions and it is a solid choice. It is a great size for belt carry and it can be concealed easily under a un-tucked T. Great Little Bugger!

Another vote for the G10 model. I love mine. I like cord wrap too but the G10 seems slimmer and fits along my body very well.

As far as what steel it comes with, I would call TAD and ask them.

better gription, IMHO.

You might like the green color of the smooth G10 better though. Josh seemed to think that it would be the more popular of the two.

I'll vote for the smooth green handles. I personally like the dark green color better, plus it feels a lot better against my tender flesh. I carry mine concealed, so this was a consideration for me. I wouldn't worry too much about the grip though. The shape of the handle, along with the deep finger choil, allows for tremendous retention. It's a great knife, hope you get one!!

I like the rough G-10. It seems to me that I get a better grip on the first grab, but I don't think you would be unhappy with either.
