Is this a knife designed by Strider and made by Buck, or is is put together by Strider and the blade is made and heat treated by Buck? Or something else?

Thanks!

from what I understand, it was designed by strider, put together by buck, and the heat treat is done by Paul Bos. The first 500 are in BG42, and after that they are in ats-34.
my first one should come tomorrow-this is just the info I've been able to yank from the forums.
cheers,

General,

The knife in question was designed by Strider Knives in collaboration with Buck Knives. It is assembled at Buck Knives and the blades are heat-treated by Paul Bos using Strider Knives' proprietary formula.

The Buck/Strider makes all other folders look insubstantial by comparison and the Strider Knives custom version of the folder does the same to the Buck/Strider.

I've got a couple of the tanto Buck/Striders and I've been beating the crap out of one of them for about 6 months and I've got no complaints whatsoever. This is one tough piece of steel (oh yeah, there's some thick pieces of Titanium and a couple of G10 slabs too.)
