Question about the G10 version of the Boker Kwaiken/mini Kwaiken

Hi,

I have the Ti handle mini Kwaiken and I absolutely love it, but the handle is a bit "slick" for my liking.

I'm planning to get my father in law a mini Kwaiken, but I think it's a bit slippery for his large, aging hands.

Is the G10 version (or even the carbon fiber model) textured to make it "grippy" like most G10 scaled knives (think Emerson or ZT), or is it just as smooth as the Ti scale version?

Anybody with a G10 scaled or carbon fiber scaled Kwaiken or mini kwaiken--are those scales textured/grippy, or are they smooth?

The micarta version and the G-10 version are both plenty grippy.
