Question about the M7 Military Knife

Recently I purchased an almost new M7 Military Knife
that doesn't have any names, numbers or letters on
the blade and the sheath

Is this normal for the M7 Military Knives? I don't have
much experience with this kind of knives.

It was offered at a very good price in a local shop
so I couldn't resist ;)

The sheath of my M7 Knife looks similar to this one:

Not like this:

Thanks in advance,
Andy :)

I don't know much about but here is a pic of mine.

Thank you for the detailled photo

I just checked my M7 Knife again, but there's no such text.
The blade is still covered with a grey graphite coating and
also doesn't have any letters or numbers on it

Andy :)

It could be one that has been remanufactured. I have seen some that have been advertised as having been restored to military spec. All I can really add to the discussion.
