Question About TSPROF Inventory

I recently started considering the purchase of a TSPROF K03 sharpener. When I look at the TSPROF website, they are out of most of the things that I need.

Is this normal? Does their inventory always get low after Christmas?

For those familiar with TSPROF, would you expect their inventory to come back soon?

Thanks.

Inventory can be hit and miss. They did just have a bunch of sales so that took up a lot of stock. Sometimes things stay out of stock for a very long time, to the point people think it is discontinued, especially if it is not a super popular item.

Another option to look at would be the Hapstone R2 system.

You can also look at the TSPROF Europe and TSPROF Asia sites if the TSPROF US site is out of stock. I find I can get most anything on the Asia site. They ship fast too, DHL 3 day.

I purchased my k04 back when it wasn't available on the US site and could only get it through TSPROF Asia, not sure what the import fees and whatnot look like nowadays but, I think I paid 200 for the import and shipping n whatnot. Was a great experience, no issues and fast delivery.

I will say that since I had purchased it and they had made some revisions to the rotating bearing mechanism, they ended up sending me a new bearing to install, which I did and its definitely smoother/less jerky when snapping into place.

My experience is quality is excellent, but referencing B Bdtry additional stones have been unavailable for 4+ months.

I'm a bit unsure of U.S. imports given the trade situation, the U.S. distribution company while so far reliable in my experience is headquartered at:

which is interesting:

Firesharp Inc. is seemingly registered in Canada:

in a residential apartment:

of an appliance repair corporation:

Imports are likely under sanctions freeze:

If accurate, this is unfortunate for TSPROF and sharpeners.

I received an email from TSPROF two days ago announcing a Kadet Pro kit on sale for $398 and free shipping.

I've been getting multiple sales notices weekly on different kits, not individual items; the distributor might be trying to clear inventory to recover the financial outlay from the previous investment.

To me it appears the distributor sources as much locally as practical, then brings in a shipment of "repair parts" under the radar, assembles the kits, and sells them. (The cost on the cases alone is staggering, but they are high quality like the rest of the components.)
