Question CGFBM vs FBM

Glad we could help. :) Good luck with your search on the exchange and from experience I will say, an expensive knife you did not overpay for is very enjoyable, but if you feel you overpaid it may leave a bad taste in your mouth, so please take your time to find the right deal.

Also, if you get a CGFBM, you may find you prefer magnum handles, but with the thicker blades you can go either way, standard or magnum. The .27 saber grinds are a very nice balance between a CG and the .32 heavyweights.

I decided to get this one,FBM .27" Black Saber Ground, Magnum Red Tequila Sunrise G10 Handle, price was very fair in my opinion.I have sold my GCFBM on the sale forum over a month ago for what I will paying for this one.

Actually, there was this Special Edition limited production run that's also a full height flat FBM...

It's in the neighborhood of .27" thick, with a sharpened swedge.

Great pictures, Jaxx

The easy way I always kept it straight is like this, (Generalization here) and keep in mind whether your talking CG, Satin's, SE's or LE's
CGFBM---CORRUGATED GROOVES with a thickness around .250
FFBM---SABRE GRIND with a thickness around .270 or .310
FFFBM---FULL FLAT GRIND with a thickness around .270-.300 or .320
Now to really muk this up I have a Custom FFBM that has a thickness of .256. So when your talking FBMs as a blanket keep it simple for youself in that is it Corrugated,Sabre or Flat ground, and then ask about a thickness. Between Customs, Shows and original production runs things will very.
I have seen a multitude of variations, so when your making your choice just start with which design & thickness you would prefer to pursue, piece of cake!!!

Did they ever make a Satin FBM Full flat grind at .25 thick? I just bought the below FFFBM and was told it's .25 think. I should be getting it soon... I'm just wondering.
