Suppose a person owned a rare Buck knife. And suppose that knife has stains on the blade, like this

Would the Buck SPA treatment be able to fix the damage? Would it add or remove value to do so? Thank you.

cant tell from the pictures--but if those are real deep pits they wont chase the deep pits out-that would ruin the blade i believe--it would make it worthless --way to thin to be good for anything... but im sure they could make it look better than what it is....lets see what matt says...

I've seen some fantastic before and after pictures, and I've seen a few YT videos. I have full faith that the team at Buck will do their very best with the knife, if I'm able to get it. I'll let yall know.

I bought it. Should get to me in a week or so. I'll post better "before" pictures when it does. Thanks again for the moral support!
Edit to add: For those who are curious, the knife is a 2 line inverted 122 Nemo. Can't wait to see it in person!

There are fine scratches all over the knife in various places. And the sheath has some "battle scars", but don't we all? The black spots seem to be mostly on the surface. The only one that will catch a fingernail is the small one closest to the bolster. I'll be boxing it up over the weekend, hopefully shipping to Buck Inc on Monday. I have printed out a repair form, at what point do I pay?

Buck does a good job. This is a 112 Re-Blade I sent in.
