Question for BCCI Members

JB, When was the 500 offered as the club knife ? It looked good . I wish I had gotten both the 112 and 110 drop points when they were offered . A lot of handsome knives you have . DM
 
I didn't read all these posts, so someone else has probably already said....

calculate how long it will take to pay for the life membership if you pay yearly. I think it was 4 or 5 years...

And the life one is worth not having to remember to renew.
 
Thanks everyone for your observations and the photos of great knives. I was thinking that if I took a one year membership, I renew it again and again until I finally decided on a life membership.

So - I'm taking the plunge and will get a life membership - and not worry about expirations and renewals. This I guess will make me officially a collector and not only a user. I'll have to get a digital camera at some point and take pictures of my "pre-collection" users and then my upcoming "collector's" knives.

My application and fee will be sent out in Monday's mail. :)
The anticipation of things to come is almost like a kid anticipating Christmas.

I hope to meet some of you and see your collections at future shows. And hey, I live in a state that borders Idaho, too. :)

well we can say that anyway........Yep your now a collector, you step up to the silver knife pin you can wear on you leather vest above the hammer and anvil patch.....

Wolfdog, attend a show and show your card at the BCCI table, you will be amazed at the reception you get. I attended a blade show in Pasadena Ca. last year and was treated like a long lost relative by the guys at the Buck table. You won't regret your decision!

Hi David,

This BCCI Duke was issued in 2001. There is info in the March 2006 news letter on BCCI club knives.
