Question for big blade users

I've always been a big fan of recurves. They just simply look beautiful to me and I think they help cut and chop. In a big knife, it adds a bit of weight to the front to give more chopping power and bite.

This has a great subtle recurve but chops very well and doesn't interfere with sharpening.

Thanks for all the comments so far. I like a subtle recurve. I feel it gives you an advantage when chopping as has been mentioned. The curved area is also good for making fuzzies or working off strips of wood. I'm thinking of doing a spearpoint recurve Tusker.

I am not a re-curve blade fan, but I like the handle to have the curve in the back( last several inches towards the butt). Functionality of a regular blade, but grab the back of the handle and all the chopping power you need!
