Question for CJ

I bought one of the Personals in D2 from the close out list and liked it so well, I ordered another one. The second one I got looks identical, but doesn't have the D2 stamp on it. Is it possible that it was one that just missed getting stamped?

Hey Dave...if your concern is that it might not be D2 I would not worry because the knife is not in general production so no other blades to mistakenly assemble however it does bother me it missed the stamp. You will know for sure the first time you drag it accross a stone if it is D2 at around 61rc.

Thanks CJ. I wasn't all that concerned, I was just wondering. The knife was well worth the money no matter what the steel.:thumbup: Besides, the other one I bought is stamped.
