Question for Jerry, Amy, Garth or............

I believe this blade was supposed to be released at a significant discount, I guess from what they will likely be priced at upon final release, to compensate folks for their Test Team(ing) and feedback etc. They will also likely be a very sought after collector's items. It does not seem unreasonable, to me, to ask folks to wait six months to sell or, trade or, etc.

:rolleyes:Actually, I think it has more to do with the artist's classic distaste for the imperfect.

I've known a number of artists ... even more recently, now that my daughter is one.:) Genuine artists seem extremely paranoid about any early showings of their work -- they must come very close to their vision before they can bear to let others see their work.

Personally, I think this is what's responsible for the Test Team knife, rather than "mere PR." Jerry's just not satisfied with the design yet and needs some external feedback, and this is one way to satisfy the Artist's Urge to suppress the imperfect ... for a little while.

You should see my daughter. Now I can't even come near her room or the basement studio without permission. God forbid Dad should accidentally see something imperfect, undone, unsatisfactory.

Artists. Gotta love 'em, even if we normal folks can't understand 'em.:)

Jamie, I can't help but find how ironic it is that the Nuclear Sea Horse thread is the one thread right above this one:D
You know I'm just messin with ya:p

Didn't know your daughter was an artist! A girl that could kick your butt, then paint you a picture of it:eek::D
Sounds like there's not much this girl can't do well:thumbup:

I have 4 children. Every one of them is an improvement on the original.

If I die tomorrow, I die content.*

[*That said, I would appreciate a little more time to mess around ... and just have fun.;) Also, I might have a little more to contribute before I go.]

My memory is failing me:o... I was thinking you had only two daughters and one son.

Yep. Makes me a bit curious what the retail price will be. Maybe it is only the Busse-kin's test team blade that is discounted, or, it is possible I am talking out of my
