Could you post the picture of your OHTrekker with the BSA hotspark again,please? Thanks or if you have a link to the thread where I saw it?

You know once you get used to them it's really not all that bad. They don't get in the way IMO. To sharpen it all you need is a tri-stone from lansky. If you really wanted to, you take off the serrations with a corse stone to have a fine edge.
 
Longbows OHT inspired me to get one, Had a OHT fireman for a while now, good knife goes along for every trip.
 
I feel the same way about them and the serrations, the only thing that stops me from picking one up. When I saw that one with the glow-in-the-dark handles and plain edge, I almost cried. Why, oh why, is that not a standard production item???

the serrations are on the tip at first I thought this was unusual but than realized that I usually whittle eith the bittom part of my blade I think that might be a saving race.
