Inside measurements 5.25 length, 1 inch width, 2.75 inches in height

5-6 oz leather, snap closure, hand tooling. Sides sewn and riveted and glued.

I have made a pattern so this will be easy to replicate..

I've been looking for something like this only I would prefer it in nylon similar to what maxpedition uses. One thing I can see as a possible problem is with the snap closure. If you're in and out all the time it makes sense but I would prefer something like what's on the Mears pouch. Snaps can wear out or fail to snap closed. Cool otherwise though.
 
Hey Mark if D86PQ or mrbear want one the size you have made then I'll take one a little deeper/higher...3 1/2" maybe. It could also be a little less long if that would help save on leather ( 4 1/2"- 5" ).

Pit, you and I really do think alike at times...made these before I saw your post.

As to snaps, they can be easily repaired if they fail.

As you can see I changed the specs a bit. With a can inside it is 4.75 inches tall and 5 1/4 wide and 1 inch thick...

Ok, cleaned me out of leather! Lol I am going to have one altiods tin pouch and one smaller pouch. Everything else is sold. I will get about 20 square foot of leather and get my wife to help cut some out...
I wonder how they will sell in a thread labeled bushcrafter pouch?
Wonder how they would sell in the main forum?
Wonder how they are going to sell when Pit puts them up everywhere?
