Question for my Becker shooting friends

or put it another way, afaik, keltec sells ALL the weapons they make. they don't have stock. they go out the door the same week. gone. sold.

A Shop near me is preordering them, and compared to the 1400 + bucks that a custom Remington can cost or the 2500 you can spend on a Beretta or Benelli, 700 bucks dont sound bad at all.

soon, the RMR-30, based on the PMR-30, but a HK mp7 style carbine? will appear. uses the same magazines or possibly extended :> :D :} really looking forward to that.

As am I! I saw a video of the 2011 shot show at the kel tec booth and they had that. It looked so flippin sweet. And With Speer's .22WMR Gold dot ammo, it could be a nice little zombie gun :)

As for the KSG.. I'm not that crazy about it. I'll stick with my KISS 870.

I have been checking out the SU-16 rifles for a while. I've shot them. I've carried them, but for some insane reason, I haven't bought one. Mostly because of immediate cash flow when I stop at the gun shop.

Light, accurate, reliable, innovative (their designs cover alot of ground), and work with existing AR mags.

From the bipod, with a fixed 4x scope, those things are beasts. Plus, almost all AR accessories will fit.

Don't know anything about the pistols though.

I had a kel tec Sub 2000 for 8 years. It was a great gun, never had a problem. I miss it but I have a gun trading sickness.

I want that new 12 gauge too, and the 22mag pistol.

actually, i just got my pmr-30 back from the "spa" today - sent it in for fixing and rerfurbs. they put a new barrel and slide on it. for free! (as i'm the original owner, didn't have to pay shipping ). http://keltecweapons.com/news/warranty-update-second-owner-responsibilities check out that warranty if you have doubts.

a small cracked had developed when a case blew out in a non-critical piece of plastic, a design flaw maybe, but they're 100% backing it. much more studly now. they've since updated certain bits of the gun over the last year or two. free upgrades! yar.

put 150 rounds downrange tonite. nice. a few more hundred will be required to break it in again.

also: it smells like ballistol ;) someone there must've cleaned it real good with that stuff. hah.

there's a red-dot option for about $225-250, that i'm considering. this could be a VERY good gun for varmints and such.

shortly, we'll see what Ethan has to say ;)

I REALLY like the su-16C I'm just having trouble justifying it over an AR. Thier lifetime warranty might do it.

street price on the C and D models is probably pretty reasonable, and i've seen used ones at my shop now and then in the $400-450 range. mmm!

definitely waiting on the RMR-30 though.

wouldn't say no to a Sub-2000 model in 9mm glock :) seen those used for $200-250, but am waiting for a SUPER clean one :)

Bladite, do you have an FFL ?

Just wondering because of the shop comments.
If you do I might want to order some stuff from you.

my shop == LGS == 2 miles away; good shop. cheap rates, etc, and such, so it's worth dropping by just to see what they have.

.444 marlin guide with scout mount scope. tempting. expensive to plink.

so many toys.

glad i have a range to goto. which reminds me, i'm behind on my archery practice.

Hey Bladite, is the 22mag pistol reliable? Been lookin at those

i got a 1st gen one, and after a year, had a problem; they rebuilt it for me for free, and i've got 350 rounds in it this week :)

seems fairly good to me :)

don't pay more than $350. $400 if you HAVE TO HAVE IT NOW, but otherwise, they are ripping you off, and you should spit down their wife's throat when you tell them so :)
