Since the Military in S90V is such an awesome knife, is there any plan to produce any other models in S90V????

Especially a 3-4 inch fixed blade hunting knife?

Hi Ben.

We've got a Mule Team in-the-works in S90V.

If the Bushcraft model is well received, we'll make a flat ground version in S90V.

Hey Sal.

I think I remember you saying that S90V is the US equivilent to the Japanese ZDP189.
Am I remembering correctly? If so, why do you use both?

thanks.

And yeah, a short return of the Manix in S90V....... mmmm nice.

Hey Jenner,

I'm guessing the end of the year or early '09.

Rnr,

We use ZDP (Japanese made steel by Hitachi with "tricky' heat treat) on knives we make in Japan.

S90V (USA made steel by Crucible) is used on knives we make in the Golden facility.

If we do make a Bushcraft model in S90V, we'll more than likely ship the steel to Taiwan as the maker is good and we prefer to use the same maker for the same designs. We currently ship Crucible's S30V to Taiwan for some models.
