Question for Stacy or others in Hampton Roads area

Does anyone know of a local hardware store out in the hampton roads area that has a good supply of the harder to find machining tools? Specifically today, I am looking for metric taps and associated bits, and drill bits by drill size not fraction. That being said, If anyone knows of a great hardware store out here with a great selection overall, it would prove helpful, as I seem to spend a ton of time running around looking for relatively hard to find things and ultimately going online to buy them when I would prefer a local source.

Empire Machinery on Va. Beach Blvd, and Grainger on Sewells Point Rd. have pretty much everything. Most of the Fastenall stores ( several of them in the area) sell any tap or drill you want. If any of the listed places don't have what you want they will get it in just a few days.

Most of the major hardware stores sell a good variety of taps and drills.
