Question for stencil makers

What printer are you fellows using to print your transparencies. I have an HP 8600 and it will not let me override and print "best", black only on glossy photo paper. The resulting prints are not solid black, but comprised of dots. Not so good logos going down round here:thumbdn:.

A black and white laser printer will give you the darkest transparencies. The HP 8600 is a ink jet.

Thanks, had not considered a laser printer. I used to screen print and printed my transparencies with an Epson 2200 inkjet, with fast ink and industry specific software. Those days are way gone. I'll look into the laser, thanks again!
 
Research over...Staples, Brother monochrome...59.99. Color me in. BTW there NC, I used to live in Wilmington. Was working in the hog biz. Def miss J Michael's and PT's big time.
