As others have said, no problem with the grind. They vary.

On the card, someone just made a mistake when they wrote the type of blade steel.
Could also be the wrong card, but I doubt it unless the seller had more than one with the same type of inlay.

I never thought a birthday card would have the wrong steel listed! I think the variance in the blades is not only because of the different models but becasue the blades are hand ground and thus vary slightly. I love the wood inlay on your knife:thumbup:

I had another knife with the wrong steel listed. Someone just wrote down the steel that was being used at the time, when the knife really had BG-42. I'd completely forgotten about that when the OP asked me about the card on this one. CRK sent a corrected one when asked, of course.
