Question for THE MAN: Kukri coming?

When You get the production model 230 .... or for that matter the FBM LE you just picked up ... try a little sanding to customise them to your preference ....

I just go from the feel of the knife .... if I needed to smooth out a thumb groove I would do ....

Secondary value might make you pause with an LE .... but at the end of the day if it works for you .... it is likely to be an improvement for the next guy too ....

Make it...
- thinner
- lighter
- with a rounder handle
- with a tail more like a traditional Khukri so that the top of the tail presses against your palm and keeps the knife from rotating forward in your hand, even with a light grip.

Me, I would like a khukri thick. That's pretty natural for them. But I don't mind a little thinner, either, as long as it's at least .250" And I hope the Busse khukri doesn't get into production too soon, because I'm too broke for it right now. But one just never knows what the Boss Hog will cook up, and more importantly, when.
