Question for the metal professionals out there...

Ive been checking out the different standoffs and LBS options for my XM 24. I'm really tempted to get a set of brass because I think this would contrast well with the black scale I currently have on it. I know brass isnt as strong as titanium or steel, but my question is, will it be sufficient for a regular user? I dont want anything warping or bending over time. Thoughts?

Brass should be plenty tough enough for standoffs without issue. Unless you go full incredible hulk on your knife and/or put through utter abuse, under most any normal daily use you should be fine.
