Question for those that own both Umnumzann and Sebenza

Don't kid yourself, you will wind up with both at some point. :D
 
You will end up wit both eventually. It's not possible not to. Just get which one is talking to you and enjoy. A few months later pick up the other.
 
the zaan is tighter in my opinion. but i stick to my large 21 because i like the simple lines, the zann has a bit too much going on for me.

So true. I picked up a LH Large 21, and about a week later couldn't help but get a LH Umnumzaan. CRK's are addictive--you will think about them all day, then see them in your dreams.
 
I just changed my order from a Large 21 to the Zaan this morning. This will be my first CRK.

I know I'll have both eventually too so the Zaan is first I guess :D

You really can't go wrong with the Umnum. I like the looks of the Sebenza a little more, but the Umnum keeps finding its way into my pocket for EDC :confused:.
 
Both are fantastic knives.

To me, the large sebenza does everything the umnumzaan does, but it weighs less, slices better, and is easier to breakdown and reassemble. Therefore the large sebenza is the better knife.


That being said, I never ever have a use for a folder as big as the large sebenza or the umnumzaan.

If I was going to bother carrying around a large folder, it would be the umnumzaan. Reason: it looks and feels a lot cooler.
